HOW TO LODGE AN ONLINE RETURN

By Mail

For change of mind returns for all Australian orders, we offer free return by mail within 14 days from arrival date.

1. Click here to submit your Online Return and access your pre-paid shipping label.

2. Once you have submitted your Online Return Request, please carefully pack your returning item(s).

3. If you opted for Printer less – Print in Store, you will shortly receive an email which will include your Return QR Code. Only this QR code will be scanned at the Post Office for Australia Post to print your label.

4. If you opted for Print Your Own Label, please print and attach your label to your return package.

Drop off your return parcel to any Australia Post Office so we can track it safely back to us, or if you opted for Print Your Own Label you have the option to take this to an Australia Post Drop Box. Oroton will not be held liable for any lost in transit Online Returns prior to being scanned by Australia Post.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds apply to the cost of the returned items only.

In Store

For change of mind returns for item(s) purchased from our Oroton website please visit any of our Oroton Boutique’s and for item(s) purchased from our Archive or Oroton Outlet website visit our Oroton Outlet Stores within 14 days from arrival date.

Please note: For change of mind returns, AfterPay and PayPal purchases are not eligible for a Return to Original Payment Method. They are only eligible for an exchange of the same value or a store credit, regardless if your purchase is Full Priced.

Klarna, Alipay and WeChat Pay is not accepted in our stores.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds apply to the cost of the returned items only.

International Returns

For change of mind returns, Oroton does not cover the cost of international returns or provide Online exchanges. We will provide a return to the original payment method upon receiving the product in its original condition and returned within 14 days of receiving your delivery.

1. Please carefully pack your returning item(s) as well as the Online Return Form. You also can print this form here. If you don't have access to a printer, you are more than welcome to write the order information on a piece of paper. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds apply to the cost of the returned items only.

2. Return your order to the address provided.

International customers cover the cost for their returns and the responsibility of the return lies with the customer. We recommend that you use a traceable service to return your parcel as Oroton is not liable for any lost or stolen parcels.

OUR CHANGE OF MIND POLICY

Online Purchases

We offer a full Refund to your Original Payment Method for Online orders. Please review the conditions of return below. Oroton offers free returns for Customers in Australia. For International Returns Click Here. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds apply to the cost of the returned items only.

In Store Purchases

A full Refund or Exchange is available for items purchased In-Store. Please review the conditions of return below. Online purchases can also be returned In-Store for a Refund or exchange. However, items purchased online using Afterpay or PayPal can only be refunded online. Exchanges for these purchases can still be made In-Store.

Please note:

If your Online order was paid using PayPal or Afterpay and you return In-Store, you will be issued an Oroton Gift Card only when returning In-Store. Refunds to the Original Payment Method for these transactions must be processed Online. The Original Payment schedule with the payment platform will continue as usual. Gift Cards can be used Online.

Extended Exchange

During the Christmas period, any online orders placed between 18 November and 25 December are eligible for an extended exchange in-store until 15 January 2026.

Please note that exchanges cannot be processed online. To redeem the extended exchange, customers can visit any Oroton store and present proof of purchase.

Full-price online purchases remain eligible for a refund within the standard 14-day return period, calculated from the delivery date.

This extended exchange policy does not affect customers’ rights to return items deemed faulty.

Conditions of Return

Returns must meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 14 days of purchase or delivery
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase
  • In original, unused condition with all tags and packaging attached
  • Not marked as 'Final Sale'
  • Not discounted more than 60% off the Original Retail Price
  • Swimwear must be unworn, with original tags and hygiene stickers attached
  • Pierced Earrings are Final Sale and due to hygiene reasons can’t be returned for change of mind

Final Sale Purchase(s)

  • ‘Final Sale’ refers to products discounted by 60% or more. These items are not eligible for return or exchange due to change of mind.
  • Final Sale status will be clearly shown on the website and in your order confirmation.
  • We recommend choosing carefully. By purchasing a Final Sale item, you acknowledge that it cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. Any unauthorised return of Final Sale items will be sent back at the customer’s expense.

 

CAN I RETURN MY ONLINE ORDER IN-STORE?

Full Priced items can only be returned to Oroton Online or an Oroton Boutique.

Oroton Outlet items can only be returned to Oroton Online or an Oroton Outlet store.

Online orders can be returned In-Store for a Change Of Mind, provided they meet our conditions of return.

Please note:

  • Online purchases returned In-Store can no longer be exchanged for an alternative item. These will need to be processed as a return only, with any new items purchased in a separate transaction.
  • If your order was paid using PayPal or Afterpay, you will be issued an Oroton Gift Card only when returning In-Store. Refunds to the original payment method for these transactions must be processed online. The Original Payment schedule with the payment platform will continue as usual. Gift Cards can be used online.

 

ONLINE RETURN PROCESSING TIMES

Once the items have been received by our Warehouse, they will be quality checked by our team. Once cleared, returns are then processed within 2 - 4 business days of your parcel arriving back at our warehouse.

Change Of Mind returns will only be accepted 14 days from the delivery of purchase. Items returned outside this period will not be accepted for a Change Of Mind. Items can still be returned after 14 days where deemed faulty or there has been another consumer guarantee failure under the Australian Consumer Law.

DO YOU OFFER EXCHANGES FOR ONLINE ORDERS?

Due to the limited nature of our pieces, Oroton Online does not facilitate Online Exchanges.

If you would like to Exchange for another item, size or colour, you can return the item for a Return to the Original Payment Method and purchase the new item separately.

DOES OROTON COVER THE COST OF RETURNS?

Oroton covers the cost of returns for Australian-based customers only. International customers cover the cost for their returns and the responsibility of the return lies with the customer. We recommend that you use a traceable service to return your parcel as Oroton is not liable for any lost or stolen parcels.

WHAT IF I RECEIVE A FAULTY ITEM?

When you receive your order, please inspect all items carefully. If you notice a fault, please contact our Customer Care team immediately at [email protected] and ensure you include your order number and a photo of the fault within your email. The Customer Care team will respond as soon as possible with a desired solution.

OROTON x JULY PURCHASES

One hundred day returns period

For a change of mind return, items must be unused, in original condition, with original packaging. Must include dustbag, swing tags and box. Full proof of purchase must be provided.

Lifetime warranty

All July luggage comes with a guaranteed limited lifetime warranty that covers any defect on wheels, zips, handles, nylon compression strap breakages and specific cracks or breaks in the polycarbonate shell or aluminum bumpers.

The extended warranty does NOT cover defects caused by improper use, cases that were bought second hand or without proof of purchase. Cosmetic damage such as scratches, minor dents, bumps, scuffs, general wear and tear or damage that does not impact the overall functionality of the case.

The Ejectable Power Bank is covered by a two-year warranty.

Warranty claims

Warranty claims will be made via the July portal: www.july.com/au/contact-us/  whilst change of mind refunds will be at the discretion of the Oroton Store Manager.

EXCEPTIONS

Swimwear

Item/s in their original condition, with tags and hygiene stickers still attached may be returned within 14 days of purchase (or arrival) date.

Item/s can still be returned after 14 days where faulty or there has been another consumer guarantee failure under the Australian Consumer Law.

Sun and chemical fading or discolouration does not deem a product faulty.

If Swimwear items have been returned for a change of mind to an Oroton warehouse or store, in unoriginal condition, without tags and hygiene stickers attached, items will be returned to sender at the senders expense.

Pierced Earrings

Due to hygiene reasons, pierced earrings are unable to be returned for change of mind, unless faulty or there has been another consumer guarantee failure under the Australian Consumer Law.

Face Masks

Due to hygiene reasons, face masks are unable to be returned for change of mind, unless faulty or there has been another consumer guarantee failure under the Australian Consumer Law.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Any potential fluctuations in foreign exchange rates are outside of Oroton's control. The risk of such fluctuations as they impact product returns falls solely on the customer. Oroton will not be held responsible for any changes in exchange rates or additional fees that may arise due to currency conversion when processing payments or returns. Customers are advised to check the applicable exchange rate with their payment provider prior to completing any orders and returns.
